RESTAURANT ARANY STRUCC

Restaurant Arany Strucc can be found on the Main Square in the centre of town Kőszeg. Hotel Arany Strucc was built in the 17th Century in baroque style, its name derives from its one-time owner called Strauss. You will find our restaurant in this famous building. There we offer seasonal and home-made meal specialities characteristic of this region, besides you may choose from our Menu offering the masterpieces of international cuisine.We are ready to satisfy individual requests.

The Irottkő Natúrpark Association has given the restaurant the Acknowledged Guest House title for life, thus recognizing the level of its catering proved until now. The restaurant welcomes its visitors from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. on weekdays, from 10 a.m. till 2 a.m. at weekends. We are pleased to serve groups, family gatherings, companies of friends, tourist groups, class reunions and those who wish to eat after graduation farewells or before balls. His time there is also a possibility of 10-15 % discount. We ensure live music after previous arrangement with pleasure.

Besides our vaulted rooms of the age, the flowery and cozy terrace, the gastronomic pleasures and the attentive serving, our guests can also be a part of a fascinating spectacle which is namely one of Hungary's most beautiful sights.

From here, you can see the Statue of the Holy Trinity since 1713, the three-isle Vicarage Jézus Szíve, the most beautiful eclectic building of our town: the post-office, the Lauringer House and the marvellous buildings of the Main Square.

After having your meal, among others, the Castle of Kőszeg and the wonderful Jurisics Square can be reached by a short walk. The vicinity of Austria can also be a reason to our guests for taking a nice excursion.
